Sales Manager, Women’s

Job description

Scotch & Soda is looking for an enthusiastic, charismatic, and energetic professional for the New York Showroom to develop and oversee our women’s business in select major and specialty accounts. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales and shipping goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual basis
  • Monitor and compile weekly selling analysis - style Selling, location Selling; identify reorder and replenishment opportunities
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability.
  • Determine strategies to maximize sales growth and reduce inventory liability. 
  • Manage, develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers in key department stores and higher specialty boutiques in the US.
  • Attend, prepare, and manage in showroom market appointments and attend all major trade shows
  • Seasonal store visits with key accounts to deliver product knowledge, merchandising guidelines, and events participation.
  • Explore and build new business opportunities with a focus on long-term, sustained growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an Account Executive for RTW women's contemporary collections;
  • Excellent relationships with Department & specialty stores;
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker;
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent showroom presentation and sales skills;
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support assigned accounts.
