Accounts Payable Manager

Job description

The Accounts Payable Manager will manage the Accounts Payable team (5 FTE) and workflow through the entire purchase to pay cycle. You and your team will be responsible for timely processing of supplier invoices, matching with purchase orders, following up approval of invoices, processing of bank statements, timely payment of invoices, and processing of travel expenses and credit cards. In addition to these daily tasks, you will be responsible for:


  • Managing, training and motivating the AP team
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of the accounts payable (sub) ledger
  • Reconciliation and control of suspense accounts
  • Supporting the GL team with the month-end close process
  • Developing systems and procedures, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines
  • Initiating and leading business process improvements

 

 

Requirements

  • Education at bachelor level or similar 
  • At least 4 years accounting experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and oral)
  • Experience with ERP systems and well developed Excel skills
  • Problem solving attitude and you need to be an outstanding teamplayer!
